Beach Blast is an event that takes place at Corona Del Mar State Beach. Traditionally, a BBQ, volleyball, beach towels, and Buck-Buck are all to be expected. Buck-Buck, a game in which students crunch together to create a base and for the pile of students who fly onto the stack, is a wild tradition that is unique to Vanguard Students. Generations of students have continued this game and very few injuries have been recorded. This year we had the most girls in the pile than ever before. Next year, we hope to break 30.
