Welcome week takes place in the days leading up to the first day of classes. To prepare for the upcoming year, all the leadership teams, faculty and staff spent time in prayer together.
Leaders, of what is called “Frontline,” are joined by other student leaders to welcome in the incoming freshman and transfers. The Frontline leaders helped move belongings into dorms all day. Meanwhile ASB, was checking in new transfers and commuters, welcoming students, helping parents, and finalizing the interior design of the cove. Working together is the common thread that seems to tie this year’s leadership together.
The week continued by hosting a plethora of events for parents and new students. We hope to build community and display the heart of the Vanguard community. Welcome Week is a remarkable and memorable experience.
